  1. Mobilize for 3 global events at 3 global days on 3 burning global topics

    Imagine that the World Day for Decent Work on 7th October is not only celebrated by trade unions.
    Imagine that the World Development Information Day on 24th October is not only used for actions by Development educators.
    Imagine that on the World Environment Day on 5th of June is not only mobilized for by environmentalists.
    Imagine if we as emerging global citizens movement could agree on three dates e.g.
    - one on decent work and living wage
    - one on protecting the climate
    - one on global citizenship education
    and we would mobilize for these 3 global events at 3…

    • Finding the underlying logic that could link the various movements and drive a global movement

      A great number of existing movements for change manifest and advocate different ways of caring for commons (embodied in the object of their activism, whether social, cultural, economic or environmental), following their own preferences and action logics, and making the expression of the future we each want so specific and diverse. Each of these movements however, in its own way, protects, nurtures and grows a 'piece' or perspective of the commons. Finding how they do so and how the commons logic can help their action, and finding how these actions converge to strengthen the commons as a whole could help…
